Under a new name NEOFARMS but with the same DNA that built Nevado Roses, the company continues to invest in the holistic well-being of its collaborators. At NEOFARMS formerly Nevado Roses, we don't just ask our team members if they're doing well — we genuinely care about their overall well-being. That is why we decided to implement Poverty Stoplight, a social innovation tool that encourages collaborators and their families to identify their own needs and develop practical solutions in the short and medium term to improve their living conditions. Through a self-assessment process, each person gains awareness of their reality and takes ownership of their own change, with the support of NEOFARMS
How do we do it?
We measure through:

Our journey, our commitment
1. Training our Quality of Life Monitoring team
As part of our internal strengthening process, we have provided specialized training to our Quality of Life Monitoring Team. Four NEOFARMS staff members participated in a mentorship training program.
This team is led by psychologist Daniela Sansur Holguín, who guides collaborators through their self-assessment process. The goal is for each person to identify areas for improvement and gain a clearer understanding of their own reality. Collaborators are also encouraged to work alongside their families to define concrete actions aimed at improving their quality of life.
2. Planning with active participation and empathy
The active and committed involvement of administrative staff, technical teams, supervisors, and team leaders plays a fundamental role in achieving the activities planned with collaborators. Their dedication and consistent support allowed each session to unfold in an organized, effective, and human-centered way.
Dedicating part of their productive time even one hour of their workday was a clear demonstration of responsibility and commitment to the holistic well-being of our team. This effort reflected not only sound planning, but a genuine conviction that human growth is just as important as meeting professional goals.
Our commitment is to reach 100% of the company's collaborators not as a number to check off, but as a true expression of NeoFarms' commitment to its people.
3. Listening sessions with outstanding results
For individual sessions, a strategy was developed to create a private, safe, warm, and confidential space carefully designed so that collaborators would feel calm, comfortable, and at ease. This environment allowed them to briefly step away from their work responsibilities and focus on themselves.
From the very first moment, a warm welcome complete with a smile, a cup of coffee, and a piece of chocolate helped create a close and human atmosphere. This encouraged collaborators to open up naturally, feeling free to honestly share aspects of their personal, professional, and family lives.
In this space, participants didn't just share experiences they engaged in a process of joint reflection, where each person could identify their needs and explore paths toward a better quality of life, feeling heard, valued, and supported. Here are the results:
318 individual sessions have been conducted to strengthen the quality of life of NEOFARMS collaborators.
Through the methodology and case analysis, several key areas requiring support were identified among collaborators and their families:
· Health insurance for family members
· Income diversification
· Breast cancer prevention
· Sexual and reproductive health
· Family budgeting and financial planning
· Hygiene habits
· Dental health
· Self-esteem
· Safe housing
These findings allow us to better understand the realities, goals, and challenges of the people who make up our team.
These results reflect NEOFARMS commitment to seeing people beyond their professional roles. Listening, providing support, and creating opportunities for growth strengthens well-being, drives the achievement of personal goals, and builds each person's sense of agency helping collaborators and their families build a better future.
"Based on evidence, it is almost a simple equation and I say almost, because achieving it is not easy; it requires consistency and commitment. If workers are doing well, the company grows; and if the company grows in a healthy way, it can also provide better conditions for its people." Daniela Sansur
Empower, don't assist
One of the guiding principles at NEOFARMS is personal agency, the conviction that every person can become an active protagonist of their own development. The goal is not to solve collaborators' problems for them, but to walk alongside them as they identify their challenges, recognize their strengths, and develop the tools they need to overcome them. This initiative goes beyond welfare assistance, promoting sustainable long-term personal growth. Through listening sessions, psychoeducation, and planning, each collaborator can assess their current situation, set goals, and access concrete resources to move toward what matters most to them and their family.
Their growth inspires us
Collaborators who have taken part are already reporting progress in areas such as financial literacy, emotional well-being, health, academic development, and family organization. These are visible, meaningful changes that strengthen their quality of life, their confidence to face new challenges, and their sense of belonging. At NEOFARMS, we believe that when people grow, develop their potential, and improve their well-being, they also strengthen their families, their communities, and the company.
