NEOFARMS: The essence behind the new name

While the name changes from Nevado Roses to NEOFARMS, what remains intact is the essence, “nearly three decades of commitment to people”.

At NEOFARMS, wellbeing isn't a human resources department: it's a complete architecture, with doctors, psychologists, dentists, and social workers as part of Neofarms' day-to-day team.

Quality-of-life monitoring is a fundamental pillar for the company. The numbers prove it.

  • 685 dental appointments (Oct. 2025 – Jul. 2026)

  • 200+ medical appointments per month (average)

  • 102 psychological appointments (Nov. 2025 – Jul. 2026)

  • 438 sessions of the Quality of Life Monitoring Project (Mar. – Jul. 2026)

The multidisciplinary team handles between 170 and 200 cases per month in a normal season, a figure that rises to 250 during peak dates such as Valentine's Day or Mother's Day. Annual prevention campaigns add to this effort: Pap smears, vaccination drives, checkups, and self-care workshops.

Since November 2025, the Psychological Wellbeing area has attended to 102 individual cases, addressing topics such as emotional management, stress, self-esteem, and life planning.

The real impact

The key difference is that Neofarms doesn't run isolated projects. Neofarms built an integrated system linking human talent, social work, psychology, dentistry, nursing, medicine, and management, with external partnerships when a need requires them.

"People know that coming to NEOFARMS isn't just 'I come, I work, I leave.' If a tooth hurts, they can go to the dentist; if they need emotional support, they can talk to the psychologist; if they feel sick, there's the medical dispensary. That builds trust and a deeply human sense within the company," says Daniela Sansur, Clinical Psychologist and lead of the Quality of Life Monitoring Project.

This commitment is backed by international certifications: Fairtrade International, Fair Trade USA, FlorEcuador, Rainforest Alliance, FlorVerde, and BASC.

By investing in people's development, NEOFARMS also strengthens its work climate, commitment, and the sustainability of its processes: wellbeing and organizational goals aren't opposing interests, but complementary ones.
